eternal sunset ~ the endless sunset sketch, with a new mix, bass and guitar overlay.

trance 1 ~ all aspects of this song are being created off the same two very simple midi loops.

detante ~ slow, brooding, few changes, pure generative soft synths.
garden party ~ inspired by ideas of struck tubes and chimes.
endless sunset ~ makes me think of philip glass' organ pieces, but with bells over it.
live faked ~ this is a static approximation of all the elements from the 11/20/08 performance.
accounting ~ first piece with actual percussion. also has randomized silences. skipped notes.
boat ride ~ first piece with a sample element. not sure it works. i think it's too long.
cruising ~ this almost sounds like real, composed music. almost. i'm getting close!
cloud talk ~ one long sample, no randomizing, no repeating, no reverb or delay. honest.
overcast ~ a series of randomizing means notes don't trigger predictably.
assertion ~ expanding on the previous, this contains silences made by unpredictable failed triggers.
glass ~ a nod to the obvious influence for many of these pieces.
halloween ~ composed for our halloween gathering in 2009.
madrigal ~ this makes me think of Medeival horns.
